My Package 1.3.2

My Package 1.3.2 is released. As the version number indicates, this is a maintenance release to fix the small problems.

  • Fixed the problem of space included tracking number  (spaces will be truncated)
  • Fixed showing tracking item detail after viewing iAd

I am working on the capabilities of supporting push service in this application.  Still hard to tell it can be done with current limited budget.  Please give me a time to find a way.

    Hello,

I have been using “Where’s My Package?” since its first release.
There are several tracking apps in the iTune Store, but I think this is the best. Thank you for your hard work.

However, I have a few ideas (two actually) to make this app even better.
    – DHL support.
    – Integrated bar code scanner to scan package label.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

    MY.

    Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I will continue improving this software more useful as much as I can.

    For DHL support,
I put DHL support to lower priority because DHL stopped US domestic shipping anymore but I received several requests to support DHL. Since DHL supports API to get tracking information, it is not hard to support. I am trying to register myself as an developer at DHL to get the information.

    Barcode scanner,
Actually, I had no idea this app is used by the shipper. It’s good to know there is a different usage for this. It sounds interesting to support barcode scanning to my application. I wll look into the feasibility of this.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply.

I shop online frequently and return too, since there are quite a few online shops offer free return. The barcode scanner would be usefull for online shopper/returner like me.

    Thanks again,
    MY
