“My Package” 1.5.0 is released. Most notable change is adding toolbar in the main screen. It provides batch update checker and shortcut to the new package editing screen. Now you can check the updates even in the main screen without going back and forth.
I planned it was released late July but the changes were much harder than I thought. I will try to catch up version 2.0 development schedule as much as possible and it will be released hopefully at the same time as iOS 5 release.

I found one little bug(?) on 1.5.0
On top page, there is a gray bar that indicates “In Transit: MM/DD”. I believe that the MM/DD is supposed to show today. But mine shows yesterday, for instance today is 11/15 and individual shipping status under the bar shows 11/15 as well, but the bar shows 11/14.
I took a screen shot showing this issue and I can send it to you if you want me to.

Thanks for reporting the problem. I confirmed this today’s date won’t be updated after initial displaying. I think this won’t be a big problem in most of cases but I agree that it is confusing. I will update the code and the fix will be included in the next release.

Do you have any plans to include an option to receive PUSH notifications? It would be nice to get a pop-up on my iphone when the status of a package has changed.
I, too, would pay for a version that did not include ads.
Yes, I am working on supporting push notification for version 2.0 release. In current plan, 30 tracking items (per month) can be registered as receiving push notification for free (I think this will be enough for casual user). More tracking items with push notification will be available through in-app purchase option as well as remove ad feature. PRO version including all features will also be available in 2.0. So, stay tuned.
This is a nice little application. I am looking forward to using it and will provide feedback as I do.
My first suggestion is to do a little filtering/cleanup of the tracking numbers before submission to the shipping api’s. For example, USPS tracking codes may be formatted to have spaces in them on the e-mail receipt. If I copy/paste that into your application, then there will be an ‘unexpected error’ when it tries to get the tracking info. If I remove the spaces manually, then it works fine. It would be great if your application can remove spaces automatically, so users can copy/paste the codes into your app directly without having some manual cleanup work.

Hello, I think I found a bug. I am typing a UPS tracking number, and when I hit DONE it seems to always put an extra ‘space’ at the beginning of the tracking number string. I can see the space character when I edit the field, and if I delete it, and update it, it continues to insert it.
The problem is that I get an error with this UPS tracking number, and I believe it is because of this space character. I never had this issue before. I verified that the number works fine in UPS website.
Can you add in scheduled delivery date?
Great App but some missing features!
I agree with the post saying they would pay 0.99 for the app I would also pay for this app.
I would like to see some additions made.
I would like to see a Mac Widget for this app.
Also having an iPad app would be great as well.
If you made some way to sync these different programs that would be great also.
I find this so useful on the iPhone that I mourn its loss on the iPad and Mac. There is another one that has programs for the iPad and Mac but the interface is not as nice, the handling of the packages and delivered or not is not as smooth, and the price for the app is 4.99.
So thanks for the great app, the work keeping up with the development of it, and hopes for some additional programs to come.
I too would pay for this app AS IS. Any chance of adding more shippers? I’m specifically looking for Lasership (from Amazon Prime), and I know others want DHL as well. Great little app!!
Great app! Been using it for a while now. Making this iPad compatible would be terrific. I’ve read over some of your other notes and you seem to be adding some cool features such as push notifications. Looking forward to the next release. Hoping it includes an iPad version!
The app keep telling me ”failed to locate package” i have test iit it on two different orders and they both dont work..
Best tracker yet. I would pay $3 for it if it supported the iPhone 5’s bigger screen and removed ads. Just food for thought. Can we expect that any time soon?

I’m really enjoying your excellent app. I installed the app just a few days ago.
There is one small bug in it, though. It appeared a day or two after I had installed the app. On the app’s homepage, the thumbnail maps appearing on the left of the FedEx and UPS packages have red X’s crossing through them. The USPS thumbnail maps show up without any problems. The USPS thumbnail maps accurately show the most recent location of my packages.
When I tap on the FedEx or UPS orders, the tracking maps work just fine and show all the tracking steps for the packages. It’s just the homepage thumbnail maps for FedEx and UPS that have the problem.
